DAMASCUS, (PIC)-- Khaled Mishaal, the political bureau chief of Hamas, has said that politics and resistance in the Palestinian arena complement each other and do not conflict.Mishaal, speaking to Al-Jazeera network on Tuesday, said that politics should be in service of resistance, emphasizing that a respected leadership would preserve resistance and provide political cover for it.
There should be an authority that protects resistance, the Hamas leader underlined, adding that his Movement decided to participate in the PA elections back in 2006 after it witnessed official positions that ran contrary to resistance.
